Sadie had an exciting few weeks!
On Wednesday, 11/15 she ran in the Quail Classic with Bob Burchett. She was then picked up by friend, Teresa Richmond, to make the voyage to Fort Smith, Arkansas.
On Thursday, 11/16, Sadie was given a bath and a spa treatment and ran in left handed circles for the Parade of titleholders. Later that day we found out she WON the Quail Classic!
On Friday, 11/17, Sadie competed in the National Specialty Show in the Dual Champion class and earned a 2nd place. She spent Saturday hanging out until Dawn and Joe Droel kindly took her to drive her to Booneville for the Burchetts and Pepins.
Monday, 11/20, she ran in the National Amateur Championship with Wayne handling. While I don’t know the ins and outs, I know she ran nice and found birds. She was one of the 4 dogs posted.
Thursday, 11/23, we learned that Sadie not only ran well, but she is adding another title to her name in 2023.
She WON the National Amateur Field Championship!
Saturday, 11/25, Sadie ran in the National Field Championship with handler, Bob Burchett and was posted (which means she is in consideration for a placement - the event took 4 days for all dogs to compete).
Today, we learned that Sadie placed 4th in the National Field Championship! Winning the Amateur and placing 4th in the Open…not too shabby!
Huge congratulations to Wayne and Dr. Barb! Congrats to Burchett Bird Dogs!
Sadie was also named the Purina Open All-Age Brittany Award winner (which is presented to the top All-Age Brittany in the country placing in one-hour Open All-Age stakes, run under the AKC and/or the American Field from the conclusion of the National championship to the following year). Sadie finished her show championship in August in between bird dog camp days.
Sadie, I hope you get the holidays off to go sleep on the couch. You deserve it girl!

Sadie placed 3rd in open all age at Iowa trial 10/1/23. Handled by Bob Burchett.
She is also finished as a dual courtesy of Colleen Walsh!
July 2023 - We had a great weekend in Wi! "Sadie"
(GFC RFC3 FC Bamajama Willy's Sassy Sadie) earned her second major
and a major reserve before she heads back to bird camp tomorrow!

- Sadie won a class for two points on Saturday and won a 3 point major in Cambridge MN on Sunday. Sadie is now - 3RFC FC Bamajama Willy’s Sassy Sadie
May 7, 2023 - Sadie won the amateur all age at the MN Brittany Club field trial with Wayne handling

Sadie won the Amateur All Age with Wayne handling
her to a three point win. The scout Mike Poehler was awesome in
making the win happen. Iowa Brittany Club trial in Thayer Iowa.

Brittany club trial. Handled by Bob Burchett with over 30 entries.
11/19/22 Sadie is in 3rd Place in the line up for top all age dog in the country.

October 2022 - Sadie won a huge championship! Southern Kansas All Age Championship and finished her FC.
September 2022 - MO Valley field trial. Sadie, by 2XNGDC GFC AFC DC Hopes Chief of Crosscreek, won the open all age. She was handled by Bob Burchett with 30 enteries.
